Style S.O.S. Mums on the Run!
Watch out. She’s Back! The Manic mum. Summer is over and martyred mothers are on the savage school run…Demented, dazed and confused she is under pressure to emerge looking calm, cool and presentable. Up at the crack of dawn, she has no time for dawdling over clothes, make-up and hair. It’s tough enough having to scramble up eggs, burn toast, pack a lunchbox, find trainers, mouldy gum guards, mismatched socks and dog-eared books.
HOWEVER! There are some no-brainer basics that will help the manic become magic with a few tips from the school gate guru.
SOS Wardrobe essentials:
Skinny jeans, white shirt, black leggings, black sweatshirt, flat boots, trainers, puffa jacket, long jumpers, jeans, check shirts etc.
Manic Mum’s Tips:
Don’t wear your PJ’s on the run
Swap those slippers for trainers or boots
Oversized sunglasses conceal pillow face
Baseball hats for haystack hair
Tinted car windows if possible
For shock horror sleepless nights keep slap-on foundation, tinted lipgloss, stick on eyebrows on the dashboard!
