Heidi-high Supermodel designs Low-cost Lidl label
It’s a Lidl bit of an unusual partnership…Heidi Klum the “America’s Got Talent” judge designing a clothing collection for the bargain basement Lidl Label! She just doesn’t seem to fit the bill as the Lidl typical shopper. Yet the high street supermodel has converted to the lure of a Low-Cost supermarket where clothes share the aisles with freezers and cold meats. I can’t imagine Klum and her chums pushing their trolleys past the discount plastic garden furniture or picking up a cheap low-cost, tool-kit and a palette of recycled loo rolls. Her Lidl collection includes wag essentials like leopard print stilettos, shiny lame silver skirts, jungle print trouser suits and a range ponchos with that bargain flashy fashion feel. Then again maybe she’s the perfect choice in terms of taste. What’s next? Ivanka Trump designs for Costcutters. Kim Kardashian wows at Aldi? Angela Merkel for Euro Giant stores? The mind boggles.
