I love to get a few recommendations for entertaining, frivolous reads. This “Girl Unknown” title was a fun, non-taxing page turner that kept my interest from the start. Parts of it made be laugh too! The stuffy male professor drove me mad for a start. He is so self indulgent that you feel like smacking him over the head with one of his weighty historical tomes. He seems to be not only lecturing about the past but is stuck fantasizing about a lover that he had a fling with years ago too. No wonder his wife had a romantic romp with one of her kid’s best friend’s dad. The professor would drive you to adultery and a good divorce lawyer. Anyhow when it comes to the GIRRRL GENRE – This is a good one to flick through while you sip your cocktail. Enjoy!
